Top section only of a two-part copper-plate engraved map published in the Gentleman's Magazine, depicting the northernmost part of the map, including the following regions: Hudson Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, Pennsylvania, the Great Lakes, and the territory west of the Lakes occupied by North American Indian tribes; the bottom section continued down into the Atlantic states, published at the time of the French and Indian War. .
