Worn at head and tail of spine, corners worn to board. rear shows some marks, the front is relatively mark-free and accordingly still attractive. Two bookplates (William Coulson Tregarthen) to front pastedown. ffep loose 50%. Second of two contents pages (vix-vx) missing, (first torn by removal of same). Extensive annotations and a tipped-in handwritten note on p.25. Plates 19 & 22 have extensive annotations on the borders. The rear of Plate 62 has two cards pasted thereon, perhaps from another publication, also annotated, showing heraldic devices for Cazminow, Courtenay, Trenowth, Arundell, Godolphin, and Killygrew names. Opposite appears some handwritten family trees, also annotated. On the rear free end paper are pasted three stamped envelope fronts to W. Coulson Tregarthen. On the rear pastedown are tipped four ALS. All 62 plates present. All annotations and additional material present in this copy appear to be related to the early Tregarthen family.

Postage
Prices quoted exclude p&p and forex charges which will quoted for each order. For local customers books will be sent by Pudo locker-to-locker at no charge. Overseas postings will be by Economy Courier.
Descriptions
Books are described in good faith in accordance with usual trade definitions and all major defects noted. Minor inscriptions & marks, etc. may be ignored unless book is VG or better.
Payments
Local customers to make an electronic transfer (EFT).
Overseas customers will be sent a PayPal invoice.
We have a US bank account for $$ payments by US corporate customers only.
Returns
Each purchase can be returned to the seller within 7 days after reception, without explanation (an e-mail to notify the seller would be appreciated however), after which the billed amount (excluding postage costs) will be restituted to the buyer. If the buyer returns the goods to the seller because the description of the books does not conform to the actual condition of the goods then the billed amount including the postage costs will be restituted to the buyer. Returned goods should be received by the seller in the same condition as when sent to the buyer. The risk of returning goods is for the account of the sender, they should be sent by courier as the South African Post Office no longer offers a viable commercial service and we are unlikely to receive such parcels.
