Maps showing the past and present (1970s) distribution of 55 taxa of breeding and non-breeding diurnal raptor occuring in the Cape Province, South Africa, are presented. The compilation of these maps is such that any major range fluctuations which have taken place on a temporal basis are indicated. Almost a quarter of the taxa show a decrease, most show no change, and only two indicate an increase. The value of this information for long-term monitoring studies and for conservation purposes is mentioned. The limitations of the survey are discussed.

Postage
Prices quoted exclude p&p and forex charges which will quoted for each order. For local customers books will be sent by Pudo locker-to-locker at no charge. Overseas postings will be by Economy Courier.

Descriptions
Books are described in good faith in accordance with usual trade definitions and all major defects noted. Minor inscriptions & marks, etc. may be ignored unless book is VG or better.

Payments
Local customers to make an electronic transfer (EFT).
Overseas customers will be sent a PayPal invoice.
We have a US bank account for $$ payments by US corporate customers only.

Returns
Each purchase can be returned to the seller within 7 days after reception, without explanation (an e-mail to notify the seller would be appreciated however), after which the billed amount (excluding postage costs) will be restituted to the buyer. If the buyer returns the goods to the seller because the description of the books does not conform to the actual condition of the goods then the billed amount including the postage costs will be restituted to the buyer. Returned goods should be received by the seller in the same condition as when sent to the buyer. The risk of returning goods is for the account of the sender, they should be sent by courier as the South African Post Office no longer offers a viable commercial service and we are unlikely to receive such parcels.
