London, S.O. Beeton, 1864. Used - Acceptable. Fair hardback in burgundy half-leather, 1st ed.. "An illustrated journal combining practical information, instruction and amusement". Bound issues November 1863 - November 1864. With 8 very nice hand-coloured fashion plates, & 12 other colour plates(some folding), mainly designs for needlework projects. Internally quite good, but board corners badly worn; spine faded & fragile, with long splits & some loss (mainly from insects, it seems). Photo:.
