Text in French and English. 24pp. Beautiful coloured plates book on Dutch costumes, mainly from the Northern Provinces, with lithographs after drawings by Hendrik Greeven. (oa Walcheren, Leeuwarden, Assendelft, Hindelopen, Schokland, Zeist, Marken, Alkmaar, Zaandam, Schouwen, Nijmegen, Scheveningen, Amsterdam, Zuid-Beveland, Purmerend ‘‘s-Hertogenbosch, Leydorp, ). The captions to the plates are in French and Dutch, the description to each plate consists of one page in French and one page in English. The foreword is in French and English. Apart from some foxing in text a good copy.
