The edges and corners of the covers are lightly bumped & creased. The pagination is as follows: ii [i.e. iv] leaves, 62 numbered & [21] unnumbered leaves, illustrated with graphs and photographs. The front edge of the title page is creased and lightly chipped. Ex-library, de-acquisitioned by the "Engineering Library Fairfield Camera & Instrument Corp." with their stamp in red on the title page and verso of the last page, and an empty pocket at the rear. The book has a very slight musty odor, else Very good.

A forester and specialist in remote sensing Dr. Robert N. Colwell adapted aerial image-reading to forestry, map making, land planning and other fields. Appointed associate director of the Space Sciences Laboratory at Berkeley in 1969, Dr. Colwell coordinated a multicampus study of California's crops and natural resources using satellite images.
