Green cloth backed with a tan cloth spine, titled in green on the spine, in a printed green & white dust wrapper. The book's spine is slightly stained. The edges of the soiled dust jacket are chipped and the jacket's spine is darkened. [vi] & 273 pages. There is a discreet annotation in red graphite at the top right corner of the front endpaper. Very good in a good dust wrapper.

First American edition. The novel was originally published in London in 1929. Good .
