[Munchen]: Bayerische Staatsoper, 1938. 1938. - Octavo [9-3/8 inches high by 6-5/8 inches wide], softcover bound in pictorial tan wrappers. There is some light foxing & soiling to the wraps and the top corner of the front wrap is creased & detached from the text block. There is a piece chipped out of the tail of the spine. Pages [41]-60 plus [12] pages of ads & lists of the Staatsoper's November 1938 productions. Black-and-white photographic illustrations & pictorial ads. There is a small, ragged piece out of the bottom inner corner of each page. Good.

Elisabeth Feuge, soprano appeared as Christine Storch in this production.

The National-Theater in Munich was the home base of the Bayerische Staatsoper. On November 7th 1938 "Intermezzo" was playing at the Theater am Gartnerplass and on November 4th and 15th Tchaikovsky's "Eugen Onegin" was presented at a different theatre. Following a foreword by Adolf Hitler, most of the articles concern the "Eugen Onegin" production with passages quoted from the libretto.
