The monotone phorographs are mainly of good quality and although a few are familiar most are not. The landscape format lends itself to some excellent studies of the preparations for air attack and possible invasion, the sandbagging of public buildings, the use of RN's Coast Watch and Local Defence Volunteers, the salvage of war materials, training with makshift weapons, and of the battle istelf the flying men and their machines, the support personnel and their technical aids in mobilsation, the effect of bombing and the work of the civil defence and auxiliary fire service, etc., lightly rubbed at tips, no dustwrapper, very good,
