BAKER, Gene (1925-99) - Signature

Together with Ernie Banks, this infielder broke the Chicago Cubs color barrier in 1953; from 1957 to 1961 he played with the Pittsburgh Pirates. Bold signature in black ballpoint, heavy stock 5" X 3" card, n.p. 1974 May 13. Fine. With original envelope, signed again and partly addressed by Baker. .
