The author, Lora Shaner, was indeed the Madam of Sheri's Ranch, Pahrump, Nevada, for a number of years following a career in the Defense Department in New Mexico. The book is a narrative journal of Shaner's experiences as the Madam of Sheri's Ranch for five years, and of the lives of the women who toil there sexually. Superior copy, gift-quality condition, inside and out, no discernible wear to the purple cloth over boards, gilt-lettered title at spine, with a bright and shiny interior. Bright and shiny dust jacket, protected, and showing moderate wear to spine head and tail, some wear to edges and tips. Cover art by Richard Despain, reproduced in full at front and rear endpapers. Signed by the author at title page, being inscribed warmly to an adoring fan. I've done my best to state clearly and truthfully the condition of each and every book I have listed on-line. Sometimes, however, books change condition insofar as they sit on the shelf for a long time, get moved by customers, get taken to and from book fairs, and so on. Most orders will ship within one to two business days, but often times, they will go out on the same day as they are ordered. I've based my shipping costs on the assumption of books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized (extra thick, extra long, etc.), I may contact you to let you know that extra shipping is required. Bubble mailers and boxes will be expertly and securely wrapped and monitored. Please contact us if there is anything extra or different you need us to do.
