Extremely rare presentation copy, SIGNED by the author. Alterman's (1910-1970) first published book of poetry has established him as a major force in modern Hebrew literature. The book is dedicated in Alerman's hand to renowned journalist and critic, Uri Keisari (1910-1979), one of the most notable journalists in British mandate Palestine, cofounder of Ma'ariv Daily, one of Israel's leading newspapers.
