Includes an introduction by Gregory Hedberg; two lengthy essays "Charles Biederman's Search for a New Art" by Leif Sjoberg and "Landscapes by Whatever Name" with 22 notes by Jan van der Marck; two artist's statements; a checklist of the exhibition (chronological and by influence); 2-page biographical chronology; and a 2-page bibliography. Published to accompany the exhibition at Minneapolis Institute of Arts, Oct. 17, 1976 to Jan. 2, 1977.
