New York, Monthly Review Press, 1952. First Edition. Hardcover. 364p. SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR. A hardcover book in very good condition with a dustjacket in good condition. The jacket is price-clipped and quite worn at the edges, so that the colored upper layer o the paper has chipped off at the hinges. There are small chips and tears at the edges and corners, a crease in the spine, and a previous seller's price sticker on the rear panel of the jacket. The jacket remains mostly intact. The book corners are worn and there is some light foxing to the foredge; foxing is not visible on interior page margins. There is a scuff to the front endpaper just above the author's ink signature. Text clean and binding tight. Very Good .
