A complete set of six large hardcover books bound in 3/4 vellum with black cloth boards. Condition ranges from fair to good+. The spines are worn to varying degrees. The spine labels are mottled and chipped, most severely on volume 4. Cracks forming along the edges of volume 1's spine. Chipping and cracks at the tops of the spines on volumes 3 and 4. Otherwise, the edges show normal rubbing and shelf wear due to years of handling. Library sticker on each volume's spine, and library stamps on endpapers and title pages. Pages 229-236 in volume 4 are just starting to loosen; binding is otherwise tight across the set. Pages deeply tanned and brittle with age. Underlining in ink by an early owner in volumes 1-2, and occasional marginalia in volume 6; otherwise, text clean. Worn but readable copies. The Summa Theologica of St. Thomas Aquinas, with all text in Latin. Consists of Pars Prima, Secundae, Secundae Secundam, Tertia, Supplementum, and Index. Each volume measures approx. 11" x 8. Fair .
