The edges are heavily scuffed, and the leather on the spine is flaking off. Old library markings and bookplate inside, and a bit of sticker residue on the spine. The pages are age-toned, but the text is clean and the binding still tight. An 18th-century book of meditations on the Catholic faith. All text in Latin. This copy belonged to Archbishop John B. Purcell of Cincinnati (1800-1883), whose signature is on the title page. Measures approx. 5.75" x 3.5. Fair .
