The book is in Very Good condition and was issued without a dust jacket. The book covers have some light generalized toning, especially the spine. There are several spots of biopredation to the front spine joint. The text pages are clean and bright. There is a previous owner's inked name and address on the front endpaper. "The Order of the Arrow (OA) is the honor society of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) , composed of Scouts and Scouters who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives as elected by their peers. The society was created by E. Urner Goodman, with the assistance of Carroll A. Edson, in 1915 as a means of reinforcing the Scout Oath and the Scout Law. It has foundations influenced by Freemasonry and uses imagery commonly associated with American Indian cultures for its self-invented ceremonies.
