An apparent First Edition thus, bound in brown marbled paper over boards, a creamy brown leather to tips and spine, with five raised bands thereto, gilt titling and ruling between them. Beautifully marbled endpapers, marbled page edges all around, and but for some light toning to and foxing of the endpapers, a remarkably bright interior. French language text. A Wikipedia entry about him notes that Claude Prosper Jolyot de Crébillon (February 13, 1707 – April 12, 1777), called "Crébillon fils" (to distinguish him from his father), "was a French novelist," "son of a famous tragedian, Prosper Jolyot de Crébillon," and who composed plays, poems and novels for the remainder of an illustrious career. 358 pp.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. . . . I've done my best to state clearly and truthfully the condition of each and every book I have listed on-line. Sometimes, however, books change condition insofar as they sit on the shelf for a long time, get moved by customers, get taken to and from book fairs, and so on. Most orders will ship within one to two business days, but often times, they will go out on the same day as they are ordered. I've based my shipping costs on the assumption of books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized (extra thick, extra long, etc.), I may contact you to let you know that extra shipping is required. Bubble mailers and boxes will be expertly and securely wrapped and monitored. Please contact us if there is anything extra or different you need us to do.

Return policy;
