Hardcover, bound in charcoal boards titled in green on the spine, in a color pictorial black dust wrapper. The edges of the mildly soiled dust wrapper are slightly creased with a couple of short tears to the top edge of the jacket's front panel and minor chipping to the head and tail of its spine. 454 pages, profusely illustrated in color and black & white. There are a couple of small stains to the top corner of the front endpaper. Very good. First American edition. Laid in at the front is the 16-page pamphlet for the "Paul Klee Centennial: Prints and Transfer Drawings" January 8 to April 3, 1979 exhibition at The Museum of Modern Art in New York. Very good .
