Allegory of the restoration of Stadholder William V in 1787. Honorary column with the portraits of William of Orange, Frederick Henry and William III, above which the portrait of William V is being hung by a putto. On top of the column, Fame plays the trumpet. At the base of the column, Truth has pulled the blindfold from the eyes of the Republic, further Freedom, Wilhelmina of Prussia as Minerva and Father Time. On the left, the Dutch Lion tears apart the Discord.Caption in French: LES HEROS IMMORTELS Dedié aux Vrais Amis de la Patrie. Erezuil met de portretten van Willem van Oranje (Willem de Zwijger), Frederik Hendrik en Willem III, waarboven het portret van Willem V wordt gehangen. Bovenop de zuil blaast Faam op de bazuin. Aan de voet van de zuil heeft de Waarheid de blinddoek van de ogen van de Republiek getrokken, verder Vrijheid, Wilhelmina van Pruisen als Minerva en Vader Tijd. Links verscheurt de Nederlandse Leeuw de Tweedracht. In het onderschrift de wapens van Oranje en Pruisen.
