The article deals with the production of mouth harps (French: guimbardes; Italian: arbebola) in Riva, Italy, river de Sesia. With 12 illustrations the process is explained, engraving by N.L. Rousseau. Mouth harps have brands, classified in the article. The mouth harp from Amsterdam is not branded.
