Etching after the painting by Jean-Honoré Fragonard, who's name is written above the print. Below the title is written. Reference to the famous poem Jeruzalem Verlost (La Gerusalemme liberata) by the Italian poet Torquato Tasso, first published in 1581. The story deals with the first crusade. The witch Armida (Armide) tries to murder knight Rinaldo (Renaud), but falls in love with him. Etching, print measurement: 150 x 200 mm, total: 495 x 340 mm. Both the print and the pasepartout are in good condition.
