Spine with 4 raised bands, gilt decorated compartments and green leather title label: "The Farmer's Boy - Bloomfield". 2 book plates to verso of the front board: (i.) "From the Library of Anne Renier and F. G. Renier"; (II.) James Elsden Everard. Also (to verso front board): Small Binder's label: "T. Miller, Binder, High Street, Lynn." Inner hinges carefully strengthened. Clear English text throughout. 10 engravings present in"The Farmer's Boy"; Engraved portrait frontis (foxed) to "Rural Tales, Ballads, And Song". Printed title to "The Shipwreck." also foxed. An unusual collection of works with an interesting provenance. VG. ** Family history records show James Elsden Everard (1801 - 1869) of Congham, Norfolk .
