Written, signed and addressed by Henry Beston to his long-time friend and photographer, Clayton Smith of Windsor, Ontario, Canada. The greeting card features a Guinea Deer woodcut by Thomas Bewick and is signed "Henry and Betty" by Henry Beston. His letter decries the violence of the Vietnam war, and .. proudly proclaims his four grandchildren in California. His penmanship appears fragile, but his turn of phrase ever poetic.
