The book is in Very Good+ condition and was issued without a dust jacket. The book and its contents are in mostly clean, bright condition. There is some beginning rubbing to the spine ends and corners of the book covers. There is one tiny nick to the front foredge of the book cover. The text pages are clean and bright. "Summer of Love was a finalist for the 1994 Philip K. Dick Award. Publishers Weekly described it as "psychedelic" and "quirky", and lauded Mason's "extrapolations (of) future social and environmental conditions" as "intriguing and plausible", but faulted it for having a "(r) ecycled premise and two-dimensional characters".
