Has been professionally rebound in half leather with marbled boards and endpapers, looks to have boards and remains of spine of a former binding perhaps, with newer endpapers in different marbled pattern. Boards rubbed, some chipping to edges. Some rubbing and fading to closed edges. Two family inscriptions to front endpaper dated 1794 and 1831. Contains 14 plates. Patches of foxing throughout, occasional chipping, small tear or minor loss to page edges. Repaired tears to pages 511, 211, 213, and 445 which affects readability of text, and heavy loss to pages 95 and 217 where most of leaf is missing. Otherwise bind is tight and pages are clean, plates are bright. Fair/No Jacket.
