New York, Hearst's International Library Co, 1915. Photoplay edition. Hardcover. 316p. A red cloth hardcover book in acceptable condition. Edges worn and cloth lightly chafed all over. Early owner's inscription on front free endpaper, dated 1915. Dent at top of pages 217-230, not affecting the readability of the text. Half-inch closed tear on the edge of page 289-290. Lots of spotty, brown stains here and there throughout the interior, but again, the text remains readable. The binding is still tight. A copy that is obviously much-handled, but is still an interesting artifact of early movie merchandising. The SCARCE photoplay edition, promoting the popular series of silent films starring Pearl White. Complete with 15 black and white stills from the movies. Fair .
