Edges rubbed and corners scuffed through to the cardboard. Binding just barely starting to crack in spots, but still secure for handling. Pages clean, apart from occasional smudges and minor foxing. Includes issues from January 2, 1875, through June 26, 1875, with no missing issues, and with the Fine Art Supplement to the May 29 issue. Contains full-page portraits of Rev. Charles Kingsley, Sir Alexander Cockburn, and the Prince of Wales in Masonic regalia. Also features a two-page spread of a scene from Shakespeare's THE MERCHANT OF VENICE. The volume as a whole measures approx. 16" x 12.
