Red cloth covers with gilt lettering and anchor design on front cover. Wear to corners and spine ends with some minor damage to top of spine. Small split in cloth at top of spine joint on front cover. Paper on both inner hinges is completely split but covers are firmly attached and binding is sound. Plate at page 161 is a little loose. Spine is faded and covers and spine are marked. Half-title page is darkened. Pages and plates are clean. Contents include: Part I - Influence of British Navy upon the Course of the War, German, Russian, Italian, Japanese and French Navies in the War, Aircraft and Airships, Naval Engineering.
