Priscilla Wakefield (1751 - 1832) was a British Quaker philanthropist and a prolific writer, best known for her feminist work "Reflection on the Present Condition of the Female Sex; with Suggestions for its Improvement." She also wrote numerous books on morals for children and works on botany. Her current publication described an imaginary trip around the United States, in letter form. Good .
