Illustrated with a hand-colored title page vignette and 48 hand-colored aquatint plates drawn by Fielding, and Walton during a two years residence among the lakes. One of only 850 copies printed of what is considered the greatest illustrated book on the Lake District. Text and plates clean with only occasional offsetting from the text to the plates.
