Santa Cruz, Loaded Collective, Publisher, 1971. Wraps. Side folding wraps. 20 pp. including covers. A few illustrations throughout. Single issue of a zine style underground publication, produced at UC Santa Cruz. The Loaded Collective appears to have been a group of students at the University of California, Santa Cruz, perhaps also affiliated with student socialist organizations on the same campus. This includes Barbara Zheutlin, Stephanie Graham, Jeff Snyder, Mike Fox, Mike Rotkin, Bruce Dancis, Lorna Hall, and Vicki Bolam, according to Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History archive. The newsletter tackled various radical and left-wing subjects, including antiwar, political and social issues. This issue with a heavy focus on the Vietnam War, oil interests as pertaining to the war, anti-war activities, etc. Also present is a lengthy rebuttal letter from one of the contributors to Loaded, disputing assertions in a letter regarding Freud's theory of penis envy. GOOD condition. Uneven toning, minor wrinkling and soiling to the covers. Small area of staining to the lower left front corner. Good .

Wherever possible, we ship using first class international for $25.00, or the flat rate priority envelope through the US Post which costs $35.00. Return policy:
Any book may be returned within 30 days of receipt for refund of book price. Buyer responsible for return shipping. For books misdescribed, or for wrong books sent, or any other errors on our part, we will refund book price plus return cost of shipping.
