These letters present Warburton's thoughts, opinions and philosophy on matters of the day, especially religious and theological topics, but also discussing literary and philosophical topics and figures. William Warburton was the Bishop of Gloucester, but was known for his learning and knowledge on a wide range of topics. He is perhaps best known for his Divine Legation of Moses, which presented a theological paradox to deists. GOOD condition, ex-theological library.
