A pilot's memoir of life in a French observation squadron on the western front. He describes his experience "Compared with some Squadrons, our work is pleasant." Though the author's experiences may have been "pleasant," they were not to be taken as typical of those of all pilots at the front states the introduction. A nice relic of WWI. Very good .
