Gilt and gauffered edges. 8vo. - Sharkskin on left outerjoint very slightly cracked; first endpapers loose from boards; overall in very good condition.* Exceptional decoratively bound 18th century bible with skilfully applied silver fittings. Cornerpieces and clasps with floral motifs. Crowned boss with floral borders as centre pieces. Engraved initials on the inside of the top-clasp DG-YF. All silver fittings are marked on reverse with the coat of arms of Amsterdam and master's-mark IK (See Voet: 452?)
