The text pages are clean and bright, although they are darkened due to the acid content of the paper. "Once upon a time there was a button, quite an ordinary button in appearance - but, then, one should never judge by appearances. This button had had exceptional advantages, for he had once been sewn on a professor's waistcoat; besides that, he had a sense of humour. The button lived in retirement in a little brass bowl on the dining-room mantlepiece.". Very Good .
