A novel set during World War II with Australian soldiers and POW camps in Greece, Yugoslavia and Romania. Very slight scuffing to the book corners and slight bumping to the head and to the heel of the spine. Some browning to the paper edges. Very slight scuffing to the dust wrapper corners and to the head and to the heel of the spine. Some creasing to the top and bottom dust wrapper edges and the results of insect activity can be seen along the rear fold over crease. Handling marks are also present particularly on the back panel.
