BOUTROUX, Emile - Natural Law in Science and PhilosophyNew York, The Macmillan Company, 1914. Hardcover. 8vo. Blue cloth with gilt spine lettering. 218pp. Very good. Mild edgewear. A tight and nice first edition with an interesting autograph twist: Front flyleaf bears the ownership signature of P.R. Vessie, a Connecticut neurologist who made a name for himself researching Huntington's Disease and publishing the influential 1932 journal article "On the transmission of Huntington's chorea for 300 years." He served on the staff of the Gowanda State Hospital in Gowanda, New York, and this mild ex-library copy bears several inkstamps from this institution. Very uncommon. .
