Stopes. A paleobotanist by training, Stopes wrote Married Love, publishedin 1918, a sexual manifesto that scandalized and awakened 20th century consciousness with its precise physiological descriptions and its unblushing declaration of married women's rights to full sexual enjoyment. Despite her scientific knowledge, Marie was a sexual innocent until her mid-thirties. Her first marriage remained unconsummated afater 5 years. DJ edge wear.
