Publisher's brown cloth gilt, bevelled edges, original wraps and index bound in. Folding plan of North Bierly with closed tear. The first two volumes of the second series with contributions from well-known local historians, including Cudworth, Scruton, Horsfall Turner and Rayner. There were two previous volumes published commencing 1878. A new series was published later.
