If memory serves, and when you get as old as I am you wonder, when this book was published Anne was sick and not able to tour. She signed an undetermined number, i was thinking at the time 500 but the number was probably larger, of these special Knopf bookplates which in a way makes this edition with the plate an un-numbered limited edition of sorts.
