(4) viii, 392; vi, 386, colour frontis with tissue guards, 24 chromolithographs, about 2,500 engravings, tooled calf leather over marbled boards, folio size. Tear to one plate in Volume II, faint foxing and minor staining to the edges of some plates, otherwise contents are Very Good with no loose pages or shakeness. Original marbled endpapers present but boards detached and backstrips missing. Worthy of rebinding, or can be enjoyed as a disbound set. Fair.
