The first part was titled "Hygiena, id est de Sanitate Tuenda Medicinae pars prima," and with the other two parts was first published in London, 1582-3. Part I, Hygiena," was on maintaining health; Part II, "Therapeutica," was on restoring health, and Part III was taken from the medical advice of Marsilio Ficino, the fifteenth-century Florentine scholar and Humanist.
