Hand-coloured with a colour-coded key that gives details of the eight canal companies operating in the area. Covers an area south of a line running from Liverpool to Manchester down to another from Newtown in mid-Wales to Birmingham. Folds into original stiff boards which have a label on the front with the title and another indicating that the map was once the property of the Earl of Powis. Map Good to Vg condition.
