Two non-uniform bound volumes of the journal, all pages present including the three large folding views of the Great Exhibition in volume 19 and the smaller double page fold-outs in both volumes; one of the foldouts in volume 19 detached and torn, other edges rubbed and worn; Vol. 18 very good, Vol. 19 good. A very rare complete run of the famous weekly magazine, including all the articles on the building of the Crystal Palace and the Exhibition itself, with the small and large folding plans all present, albeit a couple somewhat frayed.Along with the coverage of the Great Exhibition, there is the usual mixture of fascinating coverage of issues great and small that would have been of interest to a discerning Victorian reader, all evocatively illustrated with line drawings.[Extremely heavy item - will require additional postage to all destinations]
