A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked bevelled edge boards, very slight rubbing to spine ends and no bumping to corners. The very attractive front cover and spine are gilt, red and pale blue floral embossing on green and all page edges are gilt. All the examples of gilt are very bright and the page edges very glossy. 224pp. Christianity and morality intertwine this story of Amos Lawrence, a businessman with the Protestant ethic who was born around 1790 and died in 1852.
