Title is in letterpress above map; map has title printed as "Nuova Zelandia, o Terra degli Stati, detta dagl' Hollandesi het Niew Zelandt Scoperta dagli Medemi l'anno 1654". The whole sheet measures 49cm x 34.5cm. The inset map is 12cm x 16.5cm. The text on this leave describes New Zealand, the Horn Islands (Futuna and Alofi), Cocos (Tafahi) and Traitors Island (Niuatoputapu). On the verso Australia, Carpentaria and the Solomon Islands are described. Strong imprint of the map in the centre and slightly fainter in the margins. Very Good.
