Broadsheet poster printed recto and verso. Large illustration by Bee of a knight & buxom lady fair. 22" x 16-1/2". Folded into quarters by a prior owner. Noticeable fold lines, exterior fold-line sun-tanned. Minor wear & soiling. A VG item. A program / poster for the Bohemian Club's 1959 Low Jinks [raunchy?] musical, presumably reminiscent of the old frat boy adage, "once a king, always a king, but once a knight is enough." The poster's artist, Lonie Bee, illustrated covers for The Saturday Evening Post, Cosmopolitan, Colliers, and several other periodicals. A Bay Area native, he was a member of The Thirteen Watercolorists alongside several other Bohemian Club artists.
