Modest wear to binding (light rubbing to edges). Paper with some slight age-toning, DJ worn and rubbed at edges, spine lightly sunned, some darkening to front flap. A VG+ example in an about VG DJ. Includes hand-written Christmas notecard from the buyer - stating that this Christmas present has "just been published - a literary event, actually, being published simultaneously in several languages - but it is not at all modern, possessing, rather, a fine old-fashioned flavor.".
