The covers are rubbed & bumped with some light staining. The spine is darkened with the tail chipped & the head lightly chipped & frayed. Half-title, title, [2] leaves & 168 pages. Illustrated with a stage diagram & a black- and-white frontispiece. The inner edges of the pastedowns & endpapers. are darkened. There is light staining to 1 or 2 pages & the page edges are slightly darkened. Good.

There are number of pencil underlinings, notations and small alterations in the text [affecting several different characters], which appear to have been made by someone involved in a production of the play. Good .
